Overcome Math Anxiety

If you have math anxiety, you should start by figuring out what makes you anxious and fighting negative thoughts. Set up a good place to learn, break math problems down into steps you can handle, and ask for help when you need it. 

If you're worried about math, the best thing to do right now is practice questions. Every day, do TEAS math practice questions. It's called exposure therapy, and you need to start getting used to what you'll see on the TEAS math section.

Having more confidence can come from doing things like practicing, visualizing, and making real-world connections. Take breaks, deal with your stress, and take care of yourself. 

Don't worry about timing yourself just yet if you are really anxious about math. Don't add to the stress of math by giving yourself a time limit. Give yourself as much time as you need. Pay attention to the key words in math problems, how they are set up, and how to solve them in different ways. This could take you a month of hard work.
